About EarthBound 2

I originally wanted to make an EB comic with everything exactly the same as the video game, but it seemed boring. There were a lot of other EarthBound fancomics that already did this, so what would be the point? EarthBound 2 started when I asked myself, “What if Ness was a girl?” and that pretty much sums up this whole fancomic.

EarthBound 2 was started in my late sophmore year of high school, in the spring of 2005–shortly after I had received my second Rising Stars of Manga failure letter. I decided I needed more practice. I had a choice between making an original comic from one of my story ideas, “Matchmaker Cho,” or to make an EarthBound fancomic. Let’s be glad that I picked the fancomic route, because the other idea was horrible (and my past, naive self probably knew it too).

Uh, let’s see, a little blurb about myself… Hm. I like video games, usually of the old variety from around the SNES period. I took an art elective for the first two years of high school and that is probably why this comic is here at all. I currently go to college at Shasta College in Redding, CA, working towards my Medical Coding certificate and my Office Technology AA degree.
